The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office announced today that it shall revert the price of some of its lotto games to 20 pesos per ticket.
The ticket price roll back shall apply to Ultra Lotto 6/58, Grand Lotto 6/55, Super Lotto 6/49, Mega Lotto 6/45 and Lotto 6/42.
PCSO increased the ticket price of said games in 2018 to comply with the TRAIN Law which imposed a 20% Documentary Stamps Tax (DST) on lotto tickets.
In the same announcement, PCSO likewise announced the resumption of its lotto operations on August 4, 2020.
Its gaming operations were previously halted after community quarantine measures were implemented by to government to contain the spread of COVID-19 virus.
