National Lotto 6/42 System Plays – How to Improve the Odds of Winning
6/42 Lotto System Bets allow players to pick more than the default six (6) numbers per draw, thereby increasing their chances of winning the jackpot.
These are the choices available if you want to play system bets- System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).
A total of seven (7) combinations are generated in System 7 because a player who picks this option would have to select seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are produced because the bettor will need to select a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 42.
The overall number of combinations increases as the chosen numbers increase. The same rule applies for System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.
With System 5-Roll, you only choose five (5) numbers and if your 5 numbers match the winning combination, you automatically win the jackpot. This is because in System 5R, the 5 numbers you have selected are automatically paired with each of the remaining 37 digits in the bet card, creating a total of 37 six-number combinations.
